A dark comedy thriller about a writer in a totalitarian state who is interrogated about the content of his short stories and their similarities with a number of murders happening in his town. Given the themes and strong language, it is not recommended for younger or sensitive viewers. The Pillowman won the 2004 Oliver for best new play and was recently revived on the West End.
