Dynamic Expansion/Moveable Cinema: Embodiment dance and movement practice created by Shannon Cooney

Dynamic Expansion is an embodiment approach to orient to the Fluid Body via movement and perception. It is a movement enhancement that works through expanded mindfulness. Inspiration source is the Craniosacral System; its fluid dynamics and its stillness phenomena grounds the practice. Perceiving and moving from the Fluid Body connects one to their deep knowing and inner-outer connectivity. Guided movement improvisations, inspired from the fluid dynamics in Nature gives space for new movement patterning, freedom, and connectivity. These explorations are in autonomous, partnering and group scored practices. Moveable Cinema is embedded in Dynamic Expansion; created to expand the felt-sense of vision while in movement. It enables one to find a unique path to explore how the expanded sense of vision can be an available and enriching process.
