A discussion focusing on some of the challenges facing women in the field of independent media creation, in Ottawa and beyond, featuring experienced local filmmaker Pixie Cram and VJ / media artist Annie Socoria. Participants will walk away with practical tips for 3 things women in the arts can do to mitigate some of the barriers they face. Open to artists at any stage of their career, including emerging filmmakers, and to anyone interested in exploring their creativity and discovering the artist within.
