Video Camp for Girls+ is a 2-week Summer Camp program that provides youth aged 13-17 with hands-on video production training. Topics include camera and audio basics, shooting techniques, lighting techniques, and an introduction to video editing in DaVinci Resolve. Participants will learn how to handle equipment, set up for video shoots, and will work together in small groups to produce short videos that will be screened at the end of the 2-week program.
Women, girls, gender non-conforming people, and non-binary youth are often overlooked in the field of filmmaking, and this program aims to break this stereotype. We therefore encourage registration from trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming youth.
