Get ready for the first ULPC show of the new year, on Friday January 13th, 2023! Come on out for an in-person poetry slam and open mic in the Atelier Studio at Arts Court. Our feature poet for the night is none other than the fantastic Zoey Roy!
Doors open at 7:00pm EST and show starts at 7:30 SHARP!
This event is Pay What You Can, with a suggested donation of $10. Ticket sales will open on Monday January 2nd at 7pm EST. Note that this event is limited capacity, separate tickets must be bought for every attendee so we know how many people to expect, and be sure to get your tickets early to ensure you've got a spot reserved. If, for any reason, you are not able to buy a ticket but wish to attend, please let us know and we will add you to the list (unless tickets are sold out). Poets who sign up to perform are not required to buy a ticket.
We will have COVID-19 regulations for this event. Attendees must wear a mask and proof of double-vaccination will be required to access this event, except where the attendee has a relevant exemption. All attendees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, hand sanitizer will be provided, and frequently-touched surfaces will be regularly sanitized. 67 Nicholas is the accessible entrance for Arts Court. Then take elevator B to Level 1, then turn left to Elevator A to Level 2, and head right down the hall and the Atelier is the door at the end.

Zoey Roy is a Nehithaw-Dene Michif spoken word poet from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A member of Peter Ballantyne, Zoey is currently studying a PhD in Education at York University and is currently living in Ottawa, ON.
