This month we’re back in-person with another ULPC Broken Mic! Join us on Friday March 17th, 2023 in the Arts Court Atelier Studio. Our feature poet for the night is none other than Zara Rahman, who will be representing ULPC at the 2023 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam in Vancouver this April!
Doors open at 7:00pm EST, and show starts at 7:30 SHARP!
This event is Pay What You Can, with a suggested donation of $10. Ticket sales will open on Monday March 6th at 7pm EST. Note that this event is limited capacity - separate tickets must be bought for every attendee so we know how many people to expect, and be sure to get your tickets early to ensure you've got a spot reserved. Tickets can be found on Eventbrite (link to follow shortly).
Sign up for the open mic starts at 7pm EST on Monday, March 6th. Message us on any of our socials or send us an email at urbanlegendspoetry@gmail.com to secure your spot. Open mic slots are 5 minutes.
If, for any reason, you are not able to buy a ticket but wish to attend, please let us know and we will add you to the list (unless tickets are sold out). Poets who sign up to perform are not required to buy a ticket.
We will have COVID-19 regulations for this event. Attendees must wear a mask and proof of double-vaccination will be required to access this event, except where the attendee has a relevant exemption. All attendees will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms, hand sanitizer will be provided, and frequently-touched surfaces will be regularly sanitized. Feel free to message us with any questions, and visit the link below to read our full COVID-19 Safety Plan: https://bit.ly/ULPCcovidSafetyPlan
