Community Sip & Swap

  • Club Saw 67 Nicholas Street Ottawa, ON, K1N 7B9 Canada (map)

We’re excited to bring back our Community Sip & Swap, a beloved initiative that makes sustainable clothing exchange easy, fun, and accessible for families! Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 13th, from 11 AM to 4 PM at SAW Centre (67 Nicholas St.), hosted by @supportsistem.ca, @octevaw, @fabrickcollective.ca, & @coloursofmama✨

How It Works:

•Gather your child/children’s gently used clothing (ages 5-16).

•Email contact@supportsistem.ca or natasha.plaskacz@gmail.com to arrange pick-up/drop-off.

•Ensure items are clean and free from rips or stains.

•Join us and browse for new-to-you pieces—even if you don’t have anything to swap!

We will have light refreshments, snacks, and kids’ activities so parents can browse stress-free!☕️🍎

We’re also delighted to once again offer free Mommy & Me mini photo sessions! Every participating mama or family will receive four beautifully edited digital images.

Our collective intentions are to continue this initiative as a recurring event for parents in the Ottawa-Gatineau area to have an accessible and integral space to browse for needed items without the stress of overly priced second hand items. We appreciate all donors and supporters of this initiative.

All unclaimed items will be donated to organizations supporting families in the Ottawa-Gatineau area. We look forward to seeing you there!❤️
