On-Set: Cinematography is an intermediate to advanced level workshop for people with basic knowledge of camera work who are looking to further develop their skills as a cinematographer.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore essential aspects of camera systems, including mounting, lensing, and building camera kits. The cameras we'll be using include the ARRI ALEXA SXT and SONY FX6. We'll dive into lighting techniques, understand exposure, and learn more about the tools needed to manage these settings. This workshop also covers fundamental grip and lighting practices, as well as composition techniques that will help improve your use of the camera in visual storytelling.
