Ottawa Independent Living Resource Centre (OILRC) is a local resource centre in Ottawa for persons with all/ across disabilities. With over 350 members and our small staff team, we are so proud of the wide range of abilities and talents our members offer to the wider community. Guided by the Independent Living Philosophy, our consumer control approach to full participation and integration of people with disabilities has been making a positive impact on the community for 30+ years. We are committed to keeping our programs FREE and ensuring that they are truly accessible to all individuals wanting to access our services.
OILRC runs various art programs, and has successfully raised money by selling canvas art created at our centre, at local art markets and at the Tulip Festival this past year. We are hoping to raise money through this event, while still honouring the art community. Each artist that has agreed to be a part of this event, has done so with kindness and graciousness in wanting to help our cause. These artists are some of the most talented and humble people we have ever met, and we are so grateful for them.
