What is a dance experiment? How about you decide where you start the performance. Let’s say the dance has multiple endings and multiple beginnings. What if the universe leads the way and all you have to do is follow? Empty space is curved. Time is relative.

Canadian choreographer Yvonne Coutts is the Artistic Director of Ottawa Dance Directive since 2010, having choreographed several works for Compagnie ODD which have been featured in numerous series and festivals. Yvonne was the 2015 recipient of the Ottawa Arts Council Mid-Career Artist Award, and holds three nominations for the K.M Hunter Artists Award and two for the Eldred Family Dance Award through the Ontario Arts Foundation. Yvonne’s independent works have been presented by the Brian Webb Dance Company, the Winnipeg Dance Festival, Tangente, Danceworks, Four Chambers, Women in View, Dancemakers, Arraymusic, Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers, the Canada Dance Festival and BoucharDanse. living in outer space has given her the opportunity to work with an incredible group of regional dance artists, elevating her steadfast commitment to this community.
