This 3-part workshop will introduce you to the concepts and techniques of lighting through hands-on training. Using various types of lighting from DARC’s equipment library, we will explore the basic physics of light, how to control and modify light, and how to use light to achieve a specific goal. Participants will also be introduced to camera settings and how they interact with certain types of light.
This is an in-person workshop offered at the DARC Soundstage (65 University Private, Ottawa). To participate in this workshop, all participants must be fully vaccinated and wear a mask while on site at DARC.
