After two years of pandemic delays IMOO’s long-awaited 10th anniversary festival – originally scheduled for September 2020 – is finally ready to go for the weekend of November 4th to 6th 2022 and will feature the largest cast of musicians we have presented to date. Headlining this year’s programming are the Ottawa debuts of Los Angeles saxophonist Vinny Golia (founder of 9 Winds Records) and punk jazz/no wave/brutal prog legends the Flying Luttenbachers. Other highlights of this year’s festival include New York-based saxophonist and flautist Anna Webber with Erik Hove, James Annett, and John Hollenbeck, Toronto’s See Through 4 (featuring Pete Johnston, Marilyn Lerner, Karen Ng, and Nick Fraser), and the explosive psychedelia of Ottawa’s Band Whose Name is a Symbol.
