BEING Studio invites you to wear your most glamorous getup and attend the premiere of films directed by BEING artists. Watch 6 new short films made by Jessie Huggett, Jake Riseborough, Ada Chan and a documentary made by Matthew Delaney, followed by a Q + A with the artists and producers. This event is a fundraiser for BEING, so there will also be a silent auction, door prize, and a VIP red carpet experience!

Glamour is more than glitter. It's about beauty, recognition, excitement and power.

So get camera ready, because it’s time for YOUR moment in the spotlight!

Program

6pm-7pm: VIP entrance, silent auction, art sale wall, music plays

7pm: Guests seated

7pm-8pm Film Screenings

8:05pm-8:15pm: INTERMISSION

8:15pm- 8:30pm: Q + A with artists

8:30pm- 8:40pm: Door prize & Silent Auction called

8:40pm- 9pm: Reception & Closing

Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction will support BEING in its ongoing transition to digital and in-person programming. We have risen to the challenge of adapting since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and we need your support to continue to ensure that artists always have the resources and space to create art.

Accessibility notes: ASL and Captioning on all films will be provided. There will be reserved seating space for folks using mobility aids +/ wheelchairs. The venue is accessible.
