The Inuit Story: A Dramatization
The dramatization tells the story of Inuit in Canada; and includes music and various theatrical elements that are woven throughout.
The first half of the play touches upon various periods in history including pre-contact, first contact and the government era. The second half includes the time when the Inuit political movement begins, and a period of getting organized.
It ends with a focus on today and revitalization. During intermission, a Silent Auction and Square Dance will take place. This is a vibrant and youthful and moving performance
